KEYCOMM - The Key to Communication Through Technology

KEYCOMM exists to help people with communication impairments make use of technology to contribute to and control their environments.

 

The technology supports Alternative and Augmentative Communication [AAC].

 

The Service is a multi-agency funded by Health, Education and Social Care. KEYCOMM is overseen by a Strategic Management Committee.

 

KEYCOMM'S AIMS

  • To provide a multi disciplinary Service for people with communication disorders who reside in Edinburgh and the Lothians [Midlothian, East and West Lothian]
  • To recommend appropriate technology and support
  • To provide training and information for professionals, carers and users about the use and application of technology
  • To provide a long term support service for all those involved with Communication Technology
